the basics of

VASCULAR ULTRASOUND

A vascular ultrasound is a noninvasive method used to evaluate the arteries and veins throughout the body. Such as, the vessels in the neck, abdominal cavity, upper and lower extremities. A vast amount of vascular diseases can be diagnosed with ultrasound. The majority of the times it is usually the imaging modality of choice as ultrasound does not require radiation.
