This book is broken up into 3 sections:

1. The first section is the technical and practical use of ultrasound with a review of the physical principles of sound, the practical approach to the ultrasound equipment, and the technical aspect of performing the ultrasound examination.

2. The second section, chapters four to ten, addresses the obstetric ultrasound examination

3. The third section, chapters eleven to fourteen, addresses the gynecologic ultrasound examination

I have always appreciated Dr. Abuhamad's textbooks, teaching style, and all around good human kindness. His expertise in willing to share his knowledge of ultrasound makes him touch notch in my book.
